Steve Blake Inks $16 Million Contract with LA Lakers 2

Steve Blake is a good player and would be an asset to the Los Angeles Lakers. Especially now that little is known if the Los Angeles Lakers will let Derek Fisher go or would they negotiate further. Like Jordan Farmar, Derek Fisher is now a free agent and just denounced the contract that was offered to him by the Los Angeles Lakers. The contract was said to have worth $2.5 Million for a year. Although Derek Fisher together with Jordan Farmar won the back to back Los Angeles Lakers NBA championship, Fisher was not at his best of elements during the last season. Nonetheless, I believe that he was given an unfair deal especially if the Los Angeles Lakers offered Mike Miller a 5-year $30 Million contract! This is a very, very good deal for Mike Miller, however, Mike Miller is also being offered by Sir LeBron James to come over to the laters’ side of the fence, wherever that may be. Joining LeBron James in convincing Mike Miller is Dwayne Wade. Mike Miller now faces a decision in choosing between the glitter of money and the glitter of the spotlight. Stay tuned for that.
