Denver Bronco’s Josh McDaniels Fired! 1
In the first place, why did the Denver Bronco’s hire him? Please, can you help me recall?
Josh McDaniels traded quarterback Jay Cutler and wide receiver Brandon Marshall and selected Tim Tebow on 2010 draft. Josh McDaniels also traded Payton Hillis. As Denver Broncos’ president and CEO Pat Bowlen said, he was not satisfied with the results and the direction the team headed.
Josh McDaniels is still on his $8 Million contract with $7 Millions and two years left on the amount. On top of that, Mike Shanahan who got fired last year is still on the dole out. Eric Studesville filled in Josh McDaniels’ shoes, at least temporarily. Eric Studesville is Denver Broncos’ 13th head coach.
The Denver Broncos announced the firing via Twitter. The rest of the payroll staff still stays, at least until the final games of the Denver Broncos. There were talks, however, of Bowlen having lunch with John Elway. It remained only a rumour until recently, reports have it that The Denver Broncos would indeed like to hire John Elway and Broncos offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak.
