Neither Al Gore nor Tipper Gore would admit the reason behind the split. Al and Tipper Gore simply say it is something that is mutually decided. One can only speculate that its Al Gore’s punishing schedules. Well, the guy is a writer, a speaker, a political figure and a hero trying to save the world from destruction all rolled into one. And maybe, Al Gore failed to figure out how to fit Tipper Gore into this picture.

No matter what the reason is, this is very tragic news. Al Gore, the man trying to save the world will allow his marriage burn to the ground. Al and Tipper Gore who are models to other couples are no more after 40 years. Or so I thought that after 40 years the goal has already been reached.
