A Night of Second Chances at the BET 2

At the BET, El Debarge wasn’t the only one who staged a comeback or the lone one who asked for a second chance. Chris Brown, who was silenced by the scandal of beating his ex-girlfriend superstar Rihanna, almost finished his tribute performance for his idol Michael Jackson by well sort of singing or should we say crying to ‘Man in the Mirror.’

And who else was at the BET but the notorious Kanye West who staged his first public appearance after the mic and attention grabbing incident at the MTV awards in 2009 involving the pretty Taylor Swift?

Anyway it is no contest that El Debarge is one talented fellow and he reminded us of that at the BET with a medley of his oldies and a sample from ‘Second Chance.’ El Debarge may not be one of the model citizens that the music industry ever produced but then again, everyone indeed deserve second chances.
