Another man of the hour is Jonathan Toews receiving the Most Valuable Player award, the Conn Smythe Trophy.

To celebrate the Chicago Blackhawks’ victory, a parade will be held across the city of Chicago on June 11. Surely it will be a heroes’ welcome most especially for Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. On the parade it is expected that Chicago Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville will lead the team, together with William Scott “Scotty” Bowman, the Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations for Chicago Blackhawks.

The parade is set for 10.30 in the morning and is expected to finish at 1PM although the city mayor says that the schedule is fairly open for overruns. Nevertheless, all you Chicago Blackhawks fans, prepare yourselves to be awed. Stay hydrated, keep out of the sun, make sure your cameras got fresh batteries, stay safe and just have fun.
