NHL’s Signed Deals 1

It proves to be a one hot summer for the National Hockey League with its recent trade offs and deals.

First off, Jordan Leopold signed a three-year contract with the Buffalo Sabres for a still undisclosed amount. However, unconfirmed reports say that the Jordan Leopold’s Buffalo Sabres contract is for a whooping $3 Million per season. The Buffalo Sabres expects Jordan Leopold to fill an important role for his new team. I bet this excites Jordan Leopold who, in the first place, was looking for a team that would cram his cup. And with his new contract, Jordan Leopold may be getting more than just a donut to go with it. Now I would like to say that is a good deal for an accident prone someone.

Another NHL superstar that landed a good deal recently is Anton Volchenkov. The New Jersey Devils signed Anton Volchenkov to a 6-year contract for –brace yourselves, $4.25 Million per season! And Anton Volchenkov who was playing for the Ottawa Senators for 8 years is not looking back. Anton Volchenkov is ready to play his hardest and make sure the New Jersey Devils win. For someone secured with a contract like that of Anton Volchenkov, that’s what I call getting the Devils’ moneys worth.
