This program is so popular that locals in the state are already being added to waiting lists. The rebate applies to energy saving washers, dishwashers, and water heaters ranging from $75-$425 dollars. There is a clause in this program however -you must be replacing an existing appliance, the purchase must be in Arizona.
Arizona has allotted $6 million dollars for this rebate program and neighboring California will follow this trend on April 22nd. They have set aside nearly $32 million dollars in a similar deal. Those who apply and are granted rebates will receive their savings in the form of a Visa debit card. This new initiative is being touted as the new way to go green and save money in this environment and recession.
Although the Texas Powerful Smart appliance rebate program is similar in many ways, the Arizona appliance rebate includes a relatively small number of appliances. Arizona appliance rebates are relegated only to clothes washers, dishwashers and water heaters. The maximum Arizona rebates for appliances is $425, and the minimum Arizona rebates for appliances is $75, which is one of the reasons why residents in the state of Arizona are signing up in droves to save money in this program.
In other news, Microsoft unveiled its new Kin phone on Monday, which is specifically aimed at the teen market. By doing so, the amount of online searches has increased dramatically. Look for their stock shares to rise significantly in the coming days and weeks.
And last but certainly not lease, former employee of NBC, Conan O’Brien, has a new home for his late night television show. Few details are known but the information provided now is that O’Brien will head over to TBS, bumping fellow comedian George Lopez’s show back an hour, as Conan will begin at 11:00 four nights a week from Monday through Thursday beginning in November.
