A. Design of the ring
The design maker of the ring is named as Shanore. They have a collection of jewelry design and they work on crafting and creating unique designs, but with inspirations on old Celtic manuscripts. Generally, they take into account of the symmetry, diamond cut, and the engagement band size, before designing a Celtic engagement ring.
B. Assembling of the ring
Casting is arranged by the Celtic jewelry goldsmith for the ring. The three essential parts in arranging are the shank, the center mount and the trinity shoulders. Initially, the shank is secured and every piece is properly soldered onto the shank starting from the center mount. The discoloration of the metal is again cleaned off by dipping into a special compound.
C. Fixing the Diamond
The piece of diamond is very carefully inspected by the diamond specialist to ensure the fitting of the diamond on the mount in a perfect position. The claws are slowly pushed down, one by one, into the place to level the position of the diamond in the center mount. Every prong will be filed down to close all the gap existing in between the ring and diamond.
D. Polishing
Initially, a mechanical polisher is used to refine the head of the ring. Buff polishing removes all the rough spots. A firm felt is used to smoothen and flatten. Rouge is applied to visualize the real gleam of the ring.
